Description
TERRA FULIBA is the TERRA range’s single-trigger rooting grade: a fulvic acid soil conditioner with added indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and no other actives. It carries 50.5% organic matter, 35% as fulvic acid, 6.5% water-soluble potassium (K2O), and 2000 ppm IBA, a recognised auxin that plants convert into active root-initiating hormone. Applied through soil or fertigation at transplanting, it gives a new root system the conditioning support and the hormonal trigger it needs, without the added phosphorus or amino acid load of a full rooting program.
Key Benefits
- Triggers root initiation. IBA is a recognised auxin that plants convert into active IAA, initiating adventitious and lateral root formation at the moment a crop most needs a new root system, at transplant or after propagation.
- Improves micronutrient availability. TERRA FULIBA’s fulvic acid chelates micronutrients, helping bind and carry them to the newly forming root system.
- Builds a biologically active root zone. Vinasse and molasses supply B vitamins, amino acids, and readily available sugars that feed beneficial soil bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes around the developing root system, cycling organic nitrogen back to the crop over time as that microbial activity turns over.
- Supplies water-soluble potassium. TERRA FULIBA carries 6.5% potassium (K2O) in water-soluble form, supporting the plant’s osmotic regulation and overall nutrition as the new root system establishes.
- Contributes to soil structure and organic carbon. TERRA FULIBA’s vinasse and molasses base adds to soil organic carbon and is documented to improve soil aggregation and porosity, giving the establishing root system a more workable soil structure alongside its rooting actives.
How It Works
TERRA FULIBA pairs a vinasse-derived fulvic acid base, naturally rich in chelating organic acids, with added IBA to reinforce root initiation. Unlike a fulvic-only conditioner, its formulation centers on one purpose-built rooting trigger, though its vinasse and molasses base still carries the soil organic carbon and structural benefits documented for both as soil amendments.
IBA is absorbed and enzymatically converted to active IAA through a beta-oxidation pathway in root tissue, triggering the auxin-signalling cascade that initiates adventitious root primordia, a process reinforced by the auxin and other plant growth-promoting compounds naturally present in vinasse. Fulvic acid’s chelating activity keeps micronutrients available to the newly forming roots, while vinasse and molasses feed the beneficial soil bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes around them. The organic nitrogen in TERRA FULIBA, held in amino-acid form, primarily supports that same microbial activity as the root system establishes, with nitrogen cycling back to the plant as those microbes turn over.
When to Use TERRA FULIBA
TERRA FULIBA is built for the establishment window, when a crop is forming its root system.
- Apply TERRA FULIBA at transplanting to support root initiation during establishment.
- TERRA FULIBA supports cuttings and young plants through the propagation and early rooting stage.
- A follow-up application through early vegetative fertigation sustains the new root system as it develops.
Cold or compacted soils slow a plant’s own root-initiation response, which is exactly when TERRA FULIBA’s IBA and fulvic acid content matter most.
