Description

NPK 15-30-15+2MgO+TE lifts phosphate for flowering and fruit set while keeping nitrogen and potassium balanced and adding magnesium for chlorophyll. The 30% phosphate supplies the phosphorus that bud development and bloom demand, backed by nitrogen across nitrate, ammoniacal and urea forms, 2% magnesium (MgO), and an EDTA-chelated micronutrient package that includes boron. Fully water-soluble, it dissolves to a clear solution for fertigation and foliar feeding as the crop moves from vegetative growth into flowering. Its 1:2:1 skew lifts phosphate for flowering without starving the crop of the nitrogen and potassium it still needs through bloom.

Key Benefits

  • Supports flowering and fruit set. The elevated phosphate supplies phosphorus for the energy transfer that bud development, flowering and early fruit set demand.
  • Balances nitrogen forms for steady feeding. Nitrogen spans nitrate, ammonium and ureic forms, combining immediate and sustained availability so vegetative vigour is maintained without overwhelming the flowering push.
  • Supports chlorophyll with magnesium. The 2% magnesium supplies magnesium at the core of chlorophyll, supporting photosynthesis through the demanding reproductive phase.
  • Maintains potassium through bloom. The balanced potassium supports water regulation and early fruit quality as flowering transitions to fruit.
  • Tops up trace elements, including boron. EDTA-chelated iron, manganese, zinc and copper plus boron and molybdenum stay available, with boron supporting pollination and fruit set.

How It Works

NPK 15-30-15+2MgO+TE is a fully water-soluble mineral fertiliser that dissolves to a clear solution and delivers nitrogen, phosphate and potassium as plant-available ions, taken up through the roots in fertigation or through the leaf in foliar application. Because the nutrients are already in mineral, ionic form, the crop uses them without further breakdown, so the ratio in the tank is what shapes the feed the plant receives at each stage.

Its nitrogen is balanced across the three forms, about 29% nitrate, 40% ammoniacal and 31% urea, with the ammonium share leaning the profile toward phosphorus uptake: ammonium mildly acidifies the rhizosphere, helping keep the raised phosphate available for bud formation, flowering and early fruit set. Phosphorus drives the energy transfer behind these reproductive stages, magnesium supplies the central atom of chlorophyll to keep photosynthesis strong, and the EDTA-chelated micronutrients, including boron important for pollination, stay soluble and root-available across typical solution pH rather than locking up.

When to Use NPK 15-30-15+2MgO+TE

Use it as the crop moves from vegetative growth into flowering and early fruit set.

  • NPK 15-30-15+2MgO+TE suits bud development and the pre-bloom period.
  • It supports flowering and pollination on flowering and fruiting crops.
  • It carries the crop through early fruit set before the switch to fruit-fill feeding.

Bring it in as buds form and flowering approaches; switch to a high-potassium grade once fruit begins to fill and ripen.

Its ammonium-leaning nitrogen has a mild acidifying effect on the root zone, worth accounting for in substrate pH planning through bloom.

Application

Rates scale with crop, stage and system. As a starting point, dissolve at 1 to 2.5 g/L through fertigation from bud development into early fruit set, dropping to 0.5 to 1 g/L for young plants and rising toward the top of the range on established, tolerant crops, with solution EC kept within tolerance. For foliar use stay near 1 to 2 g/L and spray in early morning or late afternoon.

The table below covers the crops and stages this grade suits, with starting rates to fine-tune to local water quality and the crop’s salinity tolerance. Fertigation figures are concentrations for constant feeding in the irrigation water; foliar figures are spray concentrations.

Crop Stage / timing Fertigation (g/L) Foliar (g/L)
Fruiting vegetables (tomato, pepper, melon) Bud development to early fruit set 1.5–2.5 2–3
Strawberry Flower initiation to bloom 1–2 1.5–2.5
Top fruit & vine (apple, grape) Bud development to fruit set 1.5–3 2–4
Citrus Pre-bloom to fruit set 1.5–3 2–4
Ornamentals & cut flowers Bud to bloom 1–2 1.5–2.5

Use the lower end on young or sensitive crops and the upper end on established, tolerant crops. For
foliar use, spray in early morning or late afternoon, never in heat, and keep the nutrient-solution
EC within the crop’s tolerance.
